Hybrid Dry Cooler High Performance

Features

The HTK Hybrid High Performance  is a combination of air-cooled dry coolers and closed circuit evaporative cooling systems. Thus the hybrid dry cooler is a high-performance unit with low operating costs that combines the advantages of conventional dry coolers with the efficency of wet cooling in a single product.

Economically recycling heat is the central idea behind a custom-planned decentralised energy system at a new German light metal foundry. In the cooling circuit, three Güntner GFD 090 HydroSpray Professional dry coolers connected in parallel and two JAEGGI HTK hybrid dry coolers also hydraulically connected in parallel ensure cooling in line with demand.

The new building complex for faster ebm-papst logistics processing in Mulfingen-Hollenbach saves 83 percent more energy than required by the 2014 German Energy Saving Regulations. This pioneering project has already gained the German company the highest possible award (Platinum) for sustainable construction. Both a JAEGGI HTK Hybrid Dry Cooler and an air-cooled Güntner GVD V-SHAPE Vario condenser ensure the dissipation of heat that cannot be used.

Saving 50 million Swiss francs on energy costs in 20 years with free cooling

The Swisscom data centre in Bern-Wankdorf is one of the most efficient in Europe thanks to its use of innovative energy technology, using 90 percent less energy for cooling compared with conventionally equipped data centres. Some 84 percent of the energy is thus used for the IT infrastructure and only around four percent for cooling purposes as well as another four percent for ventilation. Swisscom relies on hybrid coolers from JAEGGI in all construction sections in its modular data centre.

The West Cambridge data centre, one of the most ambitious IT projects in the higher education sector, makes its server capacities available to the renowned Cambridge Research Community. The data centre is cooled by only three hybrid dry coolers from JAEGGI and thus without compressor. In 2016, the data centre received the prestigious Public Service Digital Delivery Award for the innovative engineering concept.

GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals - Condensadores híbridos Jaeggi com uma capacidade de refrigeração combinada de 11 MW

O antigo laboratório Sächsisches Serumwerk, localizado no coração de Dresden, na Alemanha, em 1992 foi adquirida pela farmacêutica britânica SmithKline Beecham. Em 2000, a empresa se fundiu como Glaxo Wellcome e tem operado a fábrica desde 2008, como GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. Esta planta fabrica a vacina da gripe "Influsplit SSW®" (nome comercial Fluarix®outside na Alemanha), que é distribuído para cerca de 70 países em todo o mundo. O complexo GSK Biologicals agora abriga oito condensadores híbridos Jaeggi com uma capacidade de refrigeração combinada de 11 MW (2.500 toneladas por evaporação).

Centro de Pesquisa DESY conta com 15 drycoolers híbridos JAEGGI com capacidade de refrigeração total de 25 MW

DESY é líder mundial em pesquisa de acelerador de partículas. Em suas instalações em Hamburgo, na Alemanha, a empresa projeta, constrói e opera grandes aceleradores de partículas para investigar a estrutura da matéria. O trabalho que ocorre lá é vital para avanços em áreas que vão da medicina à pesquisa de materiais. A instalação da DESY teve múltiplas necessidades de refrigeração, incluindo o PETRA III X-Ray, o experimental acelerador de partículas círculo DESY II e seus circuitos magnéticos, e chillers centrífugos da facilidade. Para atender a essas demandas, foram instalados 15 drycoolers Jaeggi, em diversos tamanhos, com uma capacidade de refrigeração total de 25 MW (5.687 toneladas por evaporação).
